EMERY LAW RELAXATION INSPIRATION

How Do You Relax?

July 22 is National Hammock Day, and it’s giving us all a welcomed nudge to take a little time to relax this month. As Melissa shared on the cover, Candy Crush and hanging out with Bella are two of her favorite ways to unwind after a busy day. We asked the rest of our team members about their favorite ways to relax. Here’s what they had to say. LIBBY THORNGATE ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT What’s your favorite way to relax at home after a busy day? If the weather’s nice, I like to take my dog for a long walk. This would be even more relaxing if she were better behaved on a leash! What’s most relaxing: watching a funny movie, going on a walk or run, listening to Enya and meditating, or something else? Going out to eat with a small group of friends or just my husband. Good food, good company, good laughs. JOEL FRANKLIN ATTORNEY What’s your favorite way to relax at home after a busy day? Watching a favorite TV show. What’s most relaxing: watching a funny movie, going on a walk or run, listening to Enya and meditating, or something else? Going for a run or hike. AUDRA SENG SENIOR PARALEGAL What’s your favorite way to relax at home after a busy day? I enjoy working on my crafts (knitting, making teddy bears, quilting, making soap or candles), reading, or just playing with my dogs. On nice weather days, I enjoy just vegging in the backyard in my hammock. Where will we find you when you’re in relaxation mode? Laying in my hammock on a nice day outside, not having to think about anything important.

BREAKFAST SAUSAGE KEBABS

We recommend pairing your kebabs with your favorite kind of eggs. INGREDIENTS

DIRECTIONS

1. Cut sausages in half. Thread alternating sausages halves, pineapple chunks, and mushrooms onto kebab skewers. Brush with butter and syrup. 2. Grill over medium heat, regularly turning and basting with syrup, until sausages are lightly browned, about 8 minutes.

WE WANT YOU TO THINK OF US AS YOUR LAW FIRM. If you have a legal matter that needs attention, let us know. If we can’t handle the matter, we will refer you to a firm that can. Please feel free to refer us to your friends and family for their legal needs. We welcome the opportunity to help.

It sounds like these folks have this whole relaxation thing figured out. Let’s all agree to spend the next sunny afternoon chilling in a hammock or chair outside.
