S ummer is just around the corner, and with it comes one of the Quad Cities’ most anticipated events: Floatzilla! Hosted by River Action, Floatzilla is an annual celebration of community, camaraderie, and the beauty of the Mississippi River. This year, as we gear up for another unforgettable experience, let’s take a sneak peek at what Floatzilla 2024 has in store. What is Floatzilla?

The Main Event At the heart of Floatzilla is the iconic Guinness World Record attempt for the Largest Flotilla of Kayaks and Canoes. Each year, hundreds of paddlers gather at the nish line in Lake Potter, forming a colorful armada that stretches as far as the eye can see.
