The Baldridge name is well known in the cattle industry and many leading cow families bred in this program will be offered. We hope you can attend the sale on June 28 th . Jud and Denise Baldridge have bred some great females. Cow lines like Baldridge Isabel Y69 have been some of the most successful in our industry. Daughters of this great cow line are represented giving customers the chance to buy into one of the best females in the Angus breed. Decedents of Y69 have not only produced females, but some of the most dominant bulls in the breed are from this great cow. This summer female sale has become a feature event. The ability to purchase from groups of bred heifers, cow-calf pairs, open heifers and donor prospects allows buyers into the cow herd of Baldridge Performance Angus. Welcome to the Annual Baldridge Summer Event! As the summer of 2025 moves along, there is a great sense that the Angus cattle business is about to enter market opportunities that we have only dreamed about. The fundamentals of the markets and Angus cow can no longer be held back by the many obstacles of the past. There is only one way to take advantage of opportunity and that is to have inventory of the product the market needs and wants. The genetic balance of filling that is needed for a high-end market but also having these genetics perform and thrive in any region of the country is an absolute challenge. That genetic balance can be done with vision, focus, endless genetic pursuit and time. All those have and are happening at Baldridge Performance Angus and has for decades.
As you go through this large and elite offering of females, you will no doubt come away with many options. As you go through the offering again you will find more. This is what happens when genetic balance becomes established on elite cow families in every class of development. Few programs have reached the level of the Baldridge prefix. Their program is dead-center in the middle of the toughest, most competitive market in the world yet their brand still grows. The annual bull sale is an event that attracts the most progressive and established purebred and commercial programs anywhere in the country. In all my years in the business, it is obvious as people look to grow or improve their programs they don’t really gauge genetics as much as they gauge people. That is the way it should be.
