Wi Boo

Dea Friend, Dear Friends, I am delighted to welcome you to our 15th Anniversary edition of the Wish Book! Throughout the years, support from friends like you has enabled us to provide our youngest patients and their families with the little extras that can help ease the loneliness and anxiety of a hospital visit. Pediatric patients at our Children’s Hospital receive the very best medical care in Connecticut…and also, healing takes more than medicine. Healing happens when patients feel loved and cared for. We invite you to browse the following pages and find a gift that will delight a sick child at Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital. From stuffed animals to cozy pajamas, from toys that distract from medical procedures to books to inspire their imaginations, you’ll find something for every age and interest in this year’s Wish Book. You can bring our youngest patients that feeling of warmth and care they need to get well. Your gifts of love and kindness will help them heal faster — and get home sooner. The children and their families will be so grateful and so will the entire team at the Children’s Hospital! With my own heartfelt thanks,

Stephen M. Jakab, CFRE VP & Chief Development Officer
