STUDENT PERSPECTIVE
YEAR 6 REFLECTION SELENA & JACOB YEAR 6 SRC
Hey everyone! We're back from our holidays and Term 3 is off to an awesome start! We've got so much to look forward to, especially in Week 5 —it's going to be insane!
First up, we've got our 5/6 camp! Can't wait for all the fun activities and hanging out with friends and teachers on camp. We can ’ t wait to see Mr Ross and Mr Kim on the flying fox! It's going to be a blast and a chance to learn new things outside the classroom and with our friends. Then there's Science Week! We love getting hands - on with experiments and exploring cool scientific stuff. It's going to be epic! We can ’ t wait to see what experiments Ms Wilson and our teachers have in store for us! Oh, and don't forget about our Digital Design excursion to Quantum Victoria where we will design and print in 3D. That's going to be super interesting, diving into technology and how it works in real life. Can't wait to see what we'll learn! We've also started reading 'Wonder' for our text response unit. It's such an amazing book, about empathy and kindness and knowing we'll watch the movie in Week 10 makes it even more exciting!
As SRC members, we're also planning what to do with the money we've raised this year. It's cool to be involved and make decisions that benefit everyone.
Overall, Term 3 is shaping up to be one of the best yet. We've got a lot on but it's all going to be so much fun and a great learning experience.
YEAR 7 REFLECTION BERTRAND & JAHMIN YEAR 7 SRC
We have been on the Secondary Campus for a whole 6 months now and we are really enjoying it. We are super excited to continue on learning here.
Rhythm Revival was fun, unique and some Year 7’ s participated in it. This Semester all the other Year 7 classes will get to have their turn.
In Science, we have been learning about forces and learning how to use a microscope. In Math ’ s we have been learning about Algebra and in English we have been either analysing the movie Hugo or reading Top Stories.
It is a new Semester which means we have just started our elective classes. Some of us are trying Product Design, Digital Technologies and Dance. So far, we are having fun.
