Recommended for heifers or cows. A sleep all night calving ease bull here that brings extra length of spine, and an attractive profile to the table. Individual WW and YW ratios of 106 and 102 respectively. His dam is an easy fleshing, broody, long bodied female with an average NR of 5@101, and had a son sell for $4,500. Two daughters are retained in the herd.

WINTERING ARRANGEMENTS If you are unable to take delivery of your bull purchase after the sale, wintering arrangements are available at a cost of $500/bull. However, the challenge of keeping this many bulls together and injury free through the course of the winter is difficult. We would highly recommend getting the bulls home to your own environment. The only way that we have found to keep the bulls somewhat pacified is to push the feed to them. This is not a strategy that benefits the longevity of the bull. We suggest putting the bulls with your spring bred cows in the calving lot as this provides them with adequate protection and “TLC” for a yearling bull until spring. Insurance is suggested but not required.
