THE CONFERENCE The ECOC 2022 Conference will be the 48th edition and is returning to the heart of Europe, taking place in Basel, Switzerland, on 18th – 22nd September 2022. The European Conference on Optical Communication (ECOC) is the continent’s largest event in the field and one of the most prestigious and traditional events on optical communications worldwide. ECOC, as one of the leading conferences on optical communications, attracts scientists and researchers from across the world. Not only top universities, but also the world’s biggest and most influential companies present their astonishing breakthroughs from materials and devices to systems and networks, and their insightful visions for the future.
