Strengths: do more of what works (lean into it)

We’re trained to obsess over weaknesses. Positive psychology flips that script. Your signature strengths (kindness, curiosity, perseverance, creativity, humour—there are many) are the reliable engines of your energy. When you use them on purpose, life feels more like you. Try this: pick one strength you know you have and deploy it intentionally today. If you’re high in curiosity, ask three deeper questions in your next conversation. If you’re high in kindness, send a voice note of appreciation. Strengths in action generate momentum.

Micro-connections: the nervous system loves warmth Wellbeing isn’t a solo sport. Tiny, frequent moments of connection regulate our biology: a smile at the barista, eye contact with a neighbour, a genuine “How are you… really?” with a friend. These micro-moments don’t fix everything, but they take the thorns out of the day.

Try this: commit to one honest thank- you daily. Name something specific: “I felt calmer after our chat, thank you.” Specificity makes it land.
