Stephanie Bartlett has been a part of the FSTN family for 20 years. Her mom used to make this recipe for Stephanie and her brothers when they were kids. It was always a delicious treat — and there were never any leftovers!

Ingredients

2 cups sugar 1/2 cup cocoa

• • •

3 cups oats

1 tablespoon vanilla 1/2 cup nuts (optional)

1/4 cup (1/2 stick) margarine

1/2 cup milk

1/2 cup peanut butter

Directions

1. In a pot, cook sugar, cocoa, margarine, and milk on high heat until they boil. 2. Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter, oats, vanilla, and nuts. 3. Blend and drop spoonfuls on waxed paper. Let cool and harden.
