2025 UK & IRELAND We do the hard work so you don’t have to

www.albatrosstravel.com

Welcome to our UK & Ireland 2025 Brochure 2025 will see Albatross Travel celebrate its 40-year anniversary! It’s almost impossible to think we have been working with suppliers to create holidays and promoting them to clients for so long. To celebrate our Ruby Anniversary, we have highlighted some suppliers who have been with us for so many years and delivered so many wonderful memories to your customers. We have highlighted these with a special ruby icon on the page. We are all working hard to move on from 2020–2022, coping with price increases and changes to supplier accommodation strategies, and it has continued to be a challenge for us all. That said we have brought some new ideas and tweaks to itineraries and hotels to help you tempt your customers to take a holiday by coach. I hope you will enjoy browsing the content and contacting your Account Manager to obtain dates and quotes or just to find out more.

Why book with us? Free Single Room for your Driver * No matter how many passengers are booked on your tour! * Excludes London. We Go the Extra Mile We have dedicated sales and operations teams to support you and we take the time to understand your business; we strive to be an extension of your own team. We tailor our products to match your requirements and no matter your size, 1 tour or 50 tours, you are equally important to us. 24 Hour Helpline Number Our helpline is available for all drivers and couriers, should any element of the tour not go as planned. Additionally we text drivers (where we have the mobile number) to check all is well and remind them of the helpline number. Visit, Inspect & Grade We visit, inspect and grade every hotel in our brochure to assess its suitability for coach tourism and to help you select the most appropriate hotel for your customers. Alongside undertaking “first night check-ins” where we turn up unannounced to observe your arrival and dinner

Things to remember… Pricing The price you see (or quote if no price is shown on the page) includes the group admission rate for each attraction in the itinerary that is highlighted in bold. Suggested Itinerary This means that we are providing you with ideas for a tour that we would be happy to arrange for you if you wish. The Sales Team can provide you with a revised quotation price, based on any tour ideas that you feel would best suit your customer base. We would then arrange guided tours, purchase of tickets and payment of entrance fees on your behalf. What to Do All the attractions and hotels featured on the following pages can be mixed and matched according to your requirements. We are always happy to provide you with a bespoke solution for your tour programme. Additional Hotels We only have room in the brochure to feature some of our hotels. We have reserved space at many more. Please give our Sales Team a call. Overnight Hotels We understand that a successful tour is not just about the mainstay and that the hotels your passengers stay at along the way are a very important start and end to the tour. We have a great selection of hotels in excellent locations to suit all tastes and budgets. If you would like overnights adding, please give our Sales Team a call. City Tax City taxes are not included in our prices. Low Emissions Zones & Access Regulation Emission Zone (ULEZ) includes all London, the ULEZ operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including weekends (except Christmas day), with a daily charge for vehicles that do not meet the required emissions standards. For more information please visit: https://tfl.gov.uk/modes/driving/ultra-low-emission- zone/why-we-have-ulez Other cities will need to adopt CAZ, for further information visit: Drive in a clean air zone - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk) For information about driving regulations, low emission zones and access regulations across Europe visit: https://urbanaccessregulations.eu/countries-mainmenu-147 We will not be held liable for any penalties, tickets or charges that result from entry into towns and cities with low emission zones and/or access regulations. New zones are regularly being introduced across the UK so please check before costing and operating your tour. Drivers Hours EU Regulation 561/2006 is transcribed into UK law and still applies. Our itineraries are created with drivers’ regulations in mind, and we look to comply with daily driving, break and rest requirements.

through the first night of the tour. Team of Contract Managers

Our team of Contract Managers is dedicated to specific geographical areas, with some based in the areas they contract, so our product knowledge is second to none! They buy allocations in the vast majority of locations,

making your transaction effortless. Your Money is Safe with us

Even though it is not a legal requirement, Albatross Travel sets aside advance payments, made by you to us, until your tour is completed. This reflects the undertaking and protection that you must in turn provide to your passengers. The only exceptions to this are prepayments that are made in advance to suppliers or that have been received on a non-refundable basis.

Introducing Janine Cuff, Head of Contracting & Ireland Specialist Janine says…

“We bring you a range of affordable value for money products in Ireland’s Ancient East, Hidden Heartlands and Donegal with our carefully tailored itineraries at a pace what works for your customers. New for 2025 we have contracted a few hotels as a 5-night main stay where there is so much choice for your itineraries, why not make your stay longer and create the perfect Irish holiday!” Janine recommends… “2024 celebrates 10 years since the Wild Atlantic Way was launched, over the last decade we have operated many tours to experience the stunning scenery. In celebration for 2025 I have created a new multi-centre 9-day holiday (page 23) which combines both the Wild Atlantic Way and Northern Ireland’s Causeway Coast staying in County Donegal and Belfast. This is one not to be missed.”

Prices in Ireland have increased considerably compared to other countries, rest assured your customers are paying for a high level of hotel accommodation, service and cuisine which exceeds visitors’ expectations. It’s also a destination which caters so well for coach groups where coach access and parking infrastructure is provided, along with the importance of a stress-free tour for the coach driver. Of course, having the Irish Craic like nowhere else in the world goes without saying!

Titanic Belfast A Titanic Taste of Northern Ireland This tour is absolute foodie heaven! On the menu are samples of Shorthorn Beef and Organic Salmon at Glenarm Castle and a tasting and lunch including apple tart at Armagh Cider Company – what a treat! Another highlight is the recently reimagined Titanic Belfast exhibition with four new themed galleries. A visit to the brilliant Ulster Folk Museum and a beautiful Antrim coastal drive complete this great tour. PACKAGED ITINERARY Day 1 Arrival We arrive at our hotel in time for dinner. Day 2 Titanic Belfast & Belfast This morning we visit the world-famous Titanic Belfast , which tells the Titanic story through a series of spectacular interactive galleries housed in its iconic building. We roam the shipyard and journey to the depths of the ocean while we immerse ourselves in all things Titanic. The attraction has undergone a multi-million pound transformation in 2023 so we experience the newly introduced theme, ‘The Pursuit of Dreams’, designed to engage visitors with the dreams and stories of those linked to the luxury ship. There are four exciting new themed spaces to discover, including Never Again, Ballard’s Quest, The Ship of Dreams and The Lasting Legacy, as well as an illuminated, rotating 7.6m long scale model of RMS Titanic. We spend the rest of the day at leisure in Belfast, exploring some of the city’s most famous and historic sites and significant points of interest, including HMS Caroline, SS Nomadic, St George’s Market, St Anne’s Cathedral and City Hall. Day 3 Antrim Coast Drive & Glenarm Castle Farm & Tasting Tour Today we enjoy a scenic journey along the spectacular Antrim Coast en route to one of Northern Ireland’s oldest and most beautiful estates, Glenarm Castle , where we enjoy a Farm & Tasting Tour . During our informative guided tour of the great deer park, we go behind the scenes with the Estate Manager, getting a unique insight into how the estate has innovated and diversified over the centuries to the modern day. We then enjoy a sample of the famous, award-winning Glenarm Shorthorn Beef and Glenarm Organic Salmon – delicious! Day 4 Armagh Cider & Ulster Folk Museum This morning we visit Armagh Cider Company for a tour and tasting at the family- run farm, which produces an artisan range of cider and pure apple juices. Taste buds tingling, we tuck into lunch during our visit, with soup and artisan breads on the menu as well as a delicious apple tart & cream with tea/coffee. This afternoon we make our way to the Ulster Folk Museum . As we wander through the pretty parkland, we step back in time to experience life in Ulster more than a century ago, encountering costumed locals demonstrating traditional crafts along the way. Day 5 Departure After breakfast, we make our way home. See more, hear more and feel more at the reimagined Titanic Belfast! Following a £4.7million investment in 2023, it’s time to revisit this first class, world-famous experience.

Antrim Coast Road The Spirit of Belfast: Stunning Scenery & Maritime History Our tour is a real Northern Ireland treat, with a day in Belfast’s cracking Titanic Quarter to visit HMS Caroline and sample the wares of Titanic Distillers, and fascinating guided tours at both the Ulster Transport Museum and Montalto House – with a tasty afternoon tea included at the latter! We also soak in some of the area’s famed landscapes with a beautiful cruise (keep your eyes peeled for puffins, seals and lighthouses) and a memorable journey along the breathtaking Antrim Coast Road. PACKAGED ITINERARY Day 1 Arrival We spend today in Belfast’s famous Titanic Quarter, beginning with a visit to HMS Caroline , a First World War ship restored as a fascinating floating museum. We step aboard to experience life at sea during the war, discovering 100 years of history and exploring the Captain’s Quarters, the Engine Room and the Drill Hall. Don’t miss the interactive displays where we can get hands on, steering the ship, cracking codes, signalling ships and launching torpedoes! After free time for lunch in the Titanic Quarter, we visit Titanic Distillers , located at Thompson Dock where the Titanic once stood. Here, we embark on the guided Signature Tour, experiencing the workings of the distillery and the sights and sounds of the historic Pumphouse. We finish with a tasting of the award-winning Irish spirits. Day 3 Ballycastle Cruise & Scenic Antrim Coast Drive Today we travel to Ballycastle Harbour from where we embark on a 2 hour cruise going in search of puffins, seals and lighthouses! We hear stories from our guides as we sail, taking in the beautiful scenery and two of the lighthouses on Rathlin Island. The island boasts Northern Ireland’s largest seabird colony, with more than 100,000 seabirds, including puffins, nesting on the cliffs from April to August. Back on dry land, we enjoy a scenic journey along the spectacular Antrim Coast Road, part of the Causeway Coastal Route famed for its dramatic sea and cliff views. The Antrim Coast section has been named among the world’s most spectacular driving routes, so we’re in for a treat as we travel from Ballycastle to Larne. Day 4 Ulster Transport Museum & Montalto Estate This morning we encounter amazing feats of engineering at the Ulster Transport Museum , home to one of the most comprehensive transport collections in Europe, including locomotives, horse-drawn carriages, vintage motorbikes, cars and more. We enjoy a guided tour , celebrating the history of invention and discovering how our lives and communities have always been in motion. This afternoon we head to the fabulous Montalto Estate , enjoying an exclusive guided History Tour of Montalto House, which is not open to the public. As we explore the grandeur of this 18th century Georgian mansion, we admire the rooms and collections of original art and antiques, discovering the rich history of the estate. Our tour finishes in The Chinese Room, where we enjoy a traditional afternoon tea – what a treat! Day 5 Departure After breakfast, we make our way home. We arrive at our hotel in time for dinner. Clare says… “I was lucky enough to visit the Ulster Transport

Museum, a truly superb attraction, particularly for our target market. The museum tells the story of transport and social change and I could not believe the number of amazing galleries to explore – Rail, Tram and Road galleries full of 40 full-size railway vehicles, trams including the Giants Causeway tram built in 1882, and vehicles from 1903. There is also a Titanic exhibition in one of the galleries. It’s all so interesting and a real gem of a visit.”
