Look out for our Anniversary logo These are some of the hotels we have worked with over the last 40 years.
At Albatross Travel, we pride ourselves on the knowledge and experience of our Contract Managers and their understanding of coach group travel. It’s true to say that they live and breathe their areas and have a real passion for creating innovative and varied products. Introducing Robert Ramsay, Senior Contract Manager & Scotland Specialist Rob says…
“Scotland is undoubtedly a stunningly beautiful country, however beyond the landscapes every region has its own character, traditions, and history to discover. Nothing makes me happier than working closely with our partner hotels to create fantastic tours that allow your guests to experience all aspects of these regions during their holiday. From the bustling historical cities and towns to the tranquil highlands, islands and lochs, there is far too much to see in simply one tour.”
Rob recommends… “2025 sees the return of itineraries to some destinations which have not been featured for a few years including There’s Lots to See in Dundee on page 40 staying at the Landmark Hotel. While visiting Perth I recommend your groups visit the new Perth Museum which houses the Stone of Destiny – a perfect twin to Scone Palace, which was its original resting place. A new hotel for 2025 appears in our Fort William tour on page 45 , the Moorings Hotel. The Moorings is located a few miles from the centre of Fort William next to the idyllic Caledonian Canal, this hotel offers groups a more intimate experience when visiting the west coast of Scotland. Finally for those who don’t want to venture too far north our new Gretna the Gateway to Scotland tour on page 33 offers a perfect taste of Scottish history without adding overnight stops.”
