After lunch we head to the Penderyn Distillery Llandudno where we enjoy a guided tour and tasting . Our tour and tasting will teach us about the founding of this famous and award-winning brand and what makes the different whiskies taste as they do, so we start to understand why its reputation as a quality whisky producer is growing. Day 4 Anglesey & Halen Môn This morning we travel over the Menai Bridge to Anglesey and nearby Beaumaris with its medieval castle, lovely beach and Victorian pier. Here we have free time to explore and find a friendly spot for lunch. Afterwards, we head to Llanfair PG followed by a scenic drive to Halen Môn (Anglesey Sea Salt), set on the banks of the Menai Straits, for a guided tour. We learn about how the sea salt – Welsh Gold - is made into the edible condiment, from the first batch on a family Aga in 1997, to modern day production.
