GENERAL SALE INFORMATION
TIME OF SALE - The sale will start promptly at noon. TERMS - Terms of the sale are cash (or check) and each animal will be sold to the highest bidder with the auctioneer settling any disputes as to bids. Announcements made from the auction block will take precedence over any printed material. Each animal will become the property of the buyer as soon as sold and will be taken care of for a reasonable amount of time after the sale at the buyer’s risk. We strongly advise buyers to insure their purchases. All persons who attend the sale do so at their own risk and the owners assume no liability, legal or otherwise, for any accidents which may occur. GUARANTEE - All bulls are guaranteed to be breeders. Any animal failing to breed within six months of sale date may be returned to the seller if in good condition. The purchaser must notify the seller of his dissatisfaction with an animal in writing within six months of the sale date. We then reserve the right to try said animal for a period of six months. If, at the end of that time, the animal fails to breed, a like animal will be substituted if one is available, or receive credit in our next sale. Guarantee is void if injury or sickness occurred after buyer has possession of said animal.. PERFORMANCE CODES: BW - Birth Weight EPD WW - Weaning Weight EPD YW - Yearling Weight EPD MM - Milk EPD M&G - Milk & Growth EPD EPD - Expected Progeny Difference estimates of animal’s future progeny performance in actual pounds compared to progeny from the breed’s average animal. NOTE - The EPDs listed herein are as reported by the AHA and were accurate at press time. Debter Hereford Farm will not be responsible for changes in these EPDs. The Debter family invites you to attend our 53rd Annual Production Bull Sale to be held Saturday, October 25, 2025, at the farm. Sale starts at 12:00 Noon. The bulls in this sale represent 77 years of careful breeding selections to produce one of the top cowherds in the South. This strong cowherd combined with using the top Herd Sires we could find has helped us to provide a set of stout made, well- marked, two-year old bulls with uniformity. We are proud of this year’s sale offering. The two-year old bulls have the quality, soundness, stoutness, pedigree, and proven performance to work for you. The commercial females are from some of the best breeding programs. Information on these females is listed in the back of this catalog. Supplement sheets will be available on sale day at the farm as well. In this sale, we are offering 17 open registered Hereford heifers. These heifers have pedigree, EPD’s and quality to be herd-building females. This year we will be selling all cattle on video. They will be at our sale facility for your inspection on sale day. No animals will walk through the sale ring. Videos of the bulls and registered females will be online prior to the sale at DV Auction. Feel free to contact us with any questions.
