Dok Beogradski sajam čuva inti- mnost i neposrednost susreta čitala- ca i autora, Frankfurt pokazuje svu snagu i obim globalne izdavačke in- dustrije.

The book fair traditionally runs for a week at the end of October (this year it will take place from 25 th October to 2 nd November) and brings togeth- er hundreds of local and foreign ex- hibitors. Each year’s edition carries a special theme, while special honour is granted to the guest country, which represents its publishing industry, authors and cultural scene as a focal point of the fair. Make plans to be in the Ser- bian capital in late October and be sure to visit this kingdom of the writ- ten word, which is circled in our cal- endars each year as one of the key events that we simply can’t wait to at- tend. Even if you aren’t a literary fa- natic, you’ll still find something ir- resistible in the millions of colourful covers, the smell of new pages, people walking between the stands with lists of desired editions in their hands, ab- sorbed in flipping through freshly published books. The Belgrade Book Fair is a special place for all of us who adore reading, but also for the writers who attend and can watch the process of readers falling in love with their works. In ad-
