We embark on an optional walking tour of Cochem nestled in the romantic Moselle Valley, with its baroque style architecture and spectacular scenery. Our tour includes a visit to a historic mustard mill. Day 3 (Christmas Eve) Koblenz - Rüdesheim Join an optional guided tour of the historic, 2,000 year old city of Koblenz, located where the Rhine and Moselle rivers meet. Explore its cultural monuments, historic buildings, welcoming squares and river promenades. Today’s optional excursions include a guided walking tour of idyllic Rüdesheim complete with wine tasting, and a torchlit walking tour of pretty Andernach, one of the oldest towns in Germany. Day 5 (Boxing Day) Andernach - Disembark in Cologne Day 4 (Christmas Day) Rüdesheim - Andernach

Day 3 Rüdesheim - Mainz - Gambsheim We cruise to Mainz for a guided walking tour , before visiting Gutenberg Museum and browsing the Christmas market. Tonight is our gala evening with entertainment recounting Christmas traditions. Day 4 Gambsheim - Strasbourg From Gambsheim, we visit Musée Lalique to learn about master glassmaker, René Lalique. We then cruise to Strasbourg to wander the Christmas markets and admire the lights. Back on-board, we enjoy mulled wine, an Alsatian dinner and a quiz. Day 5 Disembark in Strasbourg

We arrive in Cologne and board our ship at 14.00 before cruising to Zaandam. Day 2 (27 Dec) Zaandam - Rotterdam Our first stop is Amsterdam where there is an optional city tour. Day 3 (28 Dec) Rotterdam - Willemstad - Ghent Optional visits today are Rotterdam city & harbour tour & Willemstad guided tour. Day 4 (29 Dec) Ghent - Antwerp We may wish to embark on a city tour of Ghent, famed for its churches and bridges. Day 5 (30 Dec) Antwerp Today, we have the option of joining an Antwerp city tour. Day 6 (31 Dec) Antwerp - Nijmegen Today’s optional excursion is a walking tour of Nijmegen. Day 7 (1 Jan) Nijmegen - Cologne Day 8 (2 Jan) Disembark in Cologne Arrival in Cologne at 08.00. We disembark after breakfast and make our way home.

Sights include the Vieux Bassin, St Catherine’s Church, Salt Halls (Greniers à Sel) and St Léonard Church. Day 4 (Boxing Day) Rouen - Paris Today’s optional guided tour of Rouen includes the Cathedral, Gros Horloge (Great Clock), St Joan of Arc’s Church and Market Square. Tonight is our gala evening.
