Ann Ward Illinois REFLECT and CELEBRATE! We are P.E.O. Ann Ward was given the gift of P.E.O. in 1991 by her mother-in-law and Chapter DD, Aurora, Illinois. Ann’s daughter, daughter-in-law and sister-in-law are also P.E.O.s. Ann’s P.E.O. leadership roles began at the chapter level, then advanced to the Fox Valley Presidents’ Round Table and to committees at the state level before her election to the board of Illinois State Chapter. These experiences have enriched and enlightened her life. Ann was born and raised in Hinsdale, Illinois. She earned a B.A. in French from the University of Illinois and an MBA from the University of Chicago. While a business school student, she met David Ward and embarked on a different adventure than the one she had planned. They have two children, Sarah (Mark) and Charlie (Genevieve). Ann is currently employed as a financial analyst at Illini Legal Services. She also serves as comptroller for several small businesses. Ann has served on boards and committees at church and at her children’s schools. Of all her volunteer activities, P.E.O. has given Ann the greatest joy. She celebrates every chance to meet and work with other P.E.O.s to further our Sisterhood.
Paisley L. Huntoon was initiated into her mother’s chapter, AX in Wyoming, in 1990. She has vivid memories of that ceremony but could not have predicted how integral the Sisterhood would become in her life. She has been actively involved in P.E.O. in Colorado since 2000 and is currently a member of IF, Highlands Ranch. She has served in every chapter office except chaplain. The Colorado State Chapter has also benefited from Paisley’s leadership. She served as a Chapter House trustee, chaired the Colorado P.E.O. Charitable Corporation and other state committees. Paisley’s career includes experience in human resources, finance and operations from her over 20 years with Lincoln Financial Advisors and her consultation with many Fortune 100 corporations. She earned a B.S. degree from Trinity University. Paisley and her husband, Aaron, live in Castle Pines and are fortunate to work alongside one another. In their time away, travel tops the list including one “bucket list” item of visiting all 50 states. Her relaxation techniques include paper crafts and Pilates. In the exciting year ahead, Paisley looks forward to meeting many more Colorado sisters, developing caring relationships and strengthening our Sisterhood.
Jane Byerley is a Kansan, from a family farm north of Valley Center, Kansas. She left there for Colorado College in Colorado Springs where she majored in English. After 25 years as a management consultant in fields ranging from human resource consulting to cyber security with Federal and corporate clients, she became the Executive Director of the Jung Society of Washington, and is developing a private psychotherapy practice. Jane’s P.E.O. grandmothers had B.A. degrees from Kansas State and Kansas University; women’s education is prized in the family. She is broadly over-educated: B.A., Colorado College; Rotary District Fellow, University of Warwick, Coventry, UK; MBA, Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas; and MSW, Catholic University of America, Washington, D.C. She is a Candidate for Jungian analyst in a Ph.D.-equivalent program with the Inter-Regional Society of Jungian Analysts. Jane was given the gift of P.E.O. by her mother and two grandmothers; and is joined by her sister Mary Ruth Byerley (CI, Kansas) and multiple aunts and cousins. Jane’s immediate family includes her son, Charles Stanton-Jones, an artist and fabricator living in London, UK, and Jennifer Stanton-Jones (F, DC), a marriage and family therapist in Healdsburg, California. Jane knits, reads, bakes and records her dreams diligently.
