Bede’s Staff We recognise the key role staff play in making the student experience at Bede’s Summer School special and memorable. That’s why Bede’s carefully select staff who are friendly and enthusiastic, with the skills, experience and passion to bring out the best from the students in our care.
Bede’s aim is to inspire students, widening their horizons and giving them opportunities to make international friendships, whilst also improving their English language skills.
Each centre has a minimum of four senior managers on site:
• Centre Director , who oversees all aspects of the school; • Academic Manager , to ensure the delivery of engaging and motivating academic programmes; • Welfare Manager , to look after the students physical and emotional well‑being; and • Activity Manager , who is responsible for a varied, enjoyable and inspiring programme of sports, activities, academies, social events and excursions. Every staff member receives a thorough induction to ensure they are fully prepared for their role. Since most staff are residential, they are available 24 hours a day providing a high standard of pastoral care for all students.
