ENGLISH SKILLS These lessons are designed to improve students’ general language skills, extend their vocabulary and better their understanding of grammar, to improve accuracy when producing spoken and written English. MISSION POSSIBLE In this dynamic lesson, students will work together on real-world “missions” designed to build collaboration, creativity, problem- solving, and communication. Through engaging group challenges, learners strengthen both their language proficiency and essential 21st century skills, preparing them to thrive in school, work and beyond. EXPLORATIONS These lessons use CLIL methodology to develop students’ English skills and spark their inner curiosity through a range of stimulating subjects such as Science, Design & Technology, Geography, Art and History, giving the students a chance to explore their surroundings and develop confidence in the speaker.
New for 2026, the Future Explorers course offers a perfect opportunity for students to spark their natural sense of curiosity and fulfil the need for exploration in order to improve English both inside and outside the classroom, whilst enjoying the rich nature that surrounds the beautiful Windlesham school. This course gives the students an opportunity to mix lessons, activities and excursions well suited for young learners and younger teens curious to explore the world. This carefully crafted programme for Future Explorers contains 18½ hours of lessons per week including English Skills, Mission Possible and Explorations. All levels are available with a maximum of 14 students per class. Weekly tests are conducted to check progress. Lessons improve students’ general language competencies (including grammar and vocabulary) while placing particular emphasis on developing their 21st century skills and equipping them with soft skills for the future.
