COURSE AIM This course aims to provide delegates with an overview of the OPT functionality and workflow processes that are available within the Charter solution. Using hands-on examples, exercises and other activities, the course aims to equip system users with the necessary skills and knowledge required to operate the OPT module. AUDIENCE The course is suitable for users and trainers of the Charter OPT module within the force. DELEGATE PREREQUISITES It is assumed that delegates are proficient in the use of Windows PCs and all related and relevant business processes within the force. COURSE FORMAT This hands-on instructor led course will provide delegates with the practical experience of the OPT capabilities through the use of interactive demonstrations and practical exercises.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES During the course delegates will learn how to:
• Log in and out of the product and navigate the menus and submenus • Create an OPT 1 application, understanding the approval process • Generate an Application and progress it through to Authority • How to add Covert Logs and Attachments • How to create OPT3 and OPT4 applications and print the Application when required • Review, Renew and Cancel Applications • Cancel applications
