In year three the programwill develop resources that can be disseminated by parent facilitators, parents, schools, and communities. Some of the proposed resources include a guide for parent facilitators to start a Por Los Niños program in their child’s school or community. This resource will contain presentationmaterials and discussion topics for facilitators, teachers, and other individuals to host community eventswhere they can learn the skills necessary tohave these valuable conversations with the youth in their community. We hope to develop a resource for parents that goes along with the facilitator guide. We also plan to use our robust media campaign to expand the reach of the program and pilot in other locations statewide with similar demographics. Working off the successful blueprint of the program, we are confident that it can be replicated throughout the state of Connecticut and beyond. www.PorLosNinosCT.org Keep the Momentum Going!
