Tomorrow’s Finally Here is the second long play album from the energetic jazz band Bangkok Lingo. The quintet’s programme brims with high-octane rhythmic drive and intense solos, as well as laid-back grooves and delightful melodies, and they have established themselves as a sought-after act on the Norwegian live scene. Tomorrow’s Finally Here was inspired by both legendary 60s jazz, swing and world music, all performed with excellence and joy. About the Bangkok Lingo

Bangkok Lingo is an exciting new jazz quintet featuring five young musicians from the Oslo scene. The quintet plays energetic and vibrant music highly influenced by jazz from the sixties and the simmering free jazz-scene in Europe. Inspired by exotic music from other parts of the world, their music mixes swing, free jazz and catchy melodies in a raw and unfiltered landscape.

Nowhere Everything Andreas Ihlebæk, Piano

Nowhere Everything is the new album by internationally renowned artist Andreas Ihlebæk following Northern Lullabies (NXN8001) and I will Build you a House (NXN1004) on NXN Recordings. Andreas has been praised for his musical storytelling and the new album is a modern fairytale told by piano, strings and voices. After releasing two solo piano albums he now re-ignites the sound from his debut album The Guest and invites Swedish violinist and singer annasara and singers Sisi and Noziswe to enrich his piano sounds. You’ll hear elements of neo-classical, folk and soul beautifully mixed together. About Andreas Ihlebæk, Piano

Andreas Ihlebæk has become one of the internationally most critically acclaimed Norwegian composers and pianists. His solo debut The Guest (2017) was immediately declared a genre- and mind-bending masterpiece in Europe’s biggest newspaper ( Bild ), a level of praise which was unanimously repeated by European music magazines and media outlets across the genre spectrum. The Guest was performed at the 40th anniversary of the Oslo Concert Hall, which Norwegian state radio NRK called ‘the musical highlight of the year’. Ihlebæk released his second album Northern Lullabies (NXN8001), to great critical acclaim and a Spellemannprisen nomination (Norwegian Grammy).
