2. Do we really ever have a conscious thought about an elevator and the maintenance (or lack thereof) when we get on it? Perhaps this should come to mind for us to consider in an elevator we use regularly. Ontario Regulation 209/01 made under the Technical Standards and Safety Act and relative to Elevating Devices can be found here. 3. As we are still in the throes of COVID-19, practise physical distancing on elevators and follow the face covering or mask requirements, is also important. It is more than possible a neighbour who may suffer an immune deficiency challenge that may require extra steps in protecting themselves.
