Company earns several accolades NAI Mertz touts successful 2018, expands its team

Some notable transactions com- pleted by the NAI Mertz team in 2018 include: • A 29,762 s/f lease for City Winery at Fashion District Philadelphia. John Adderly and Scott Mertz, along with HSP Real Estate, represented City Winery in a long-term lease at the 838,000 s/f shopping and lifestyle center opening in 2019 in downtown Philadelphia. • The sale of a three-building

industrial portfolio totaling 192,382 square feet in Swedes- boro, NJ. Scott Mertz brokered the sale and was retained by the new ownership to serve as the exclusive leasing agent for the properties. • The sale of Neshaminy Inn, a 33,000 s/f motel, and an adjacent 3,500 s/f retail plaza in Bensalem, PA. Jeff Licht and Fred Meyer brokered the transaction. • The sale of a 296,000 s/f industrial facility in Dunmore, PA. Dave Weaver and Steve Cole brokered the sale of the building located in the Key- stone Industrial Park with access to Interstate 81. NAI Mertz continues to ex- pand its strength in numbers across the greater New Jersey and Pennsylvania regions with the addition of several highly successful and talented staff. The Bucks County, PA office welcomed Howard Fertman as VP of National Accounts earlier this year. Fertman, who comes to NAI Mertz with more than 15 years of industry experience, is focused on developing new business relationships. Also, Jared Licht joined as a Sales Associate, and is being men- tored by Fred Meyer, SIOR— who was promoted to Executive Vice President and Director of Corporate and Brokerage Ser- vices earlier in the year—along with Jeff Licht, SIOR, senior vice president. The Mt. Laurel headquarters also gained four important teammembers this year. Bobbi Jean Formosa is the company’s new Executive VP and manag- ing director. With more than 20 years of experience in leading roles at NAI Global, Corning, and Golden West Financial, Bobbi Jean will is leading the NAI Mertz team with a focus on client experience, process optimization and growth. In addition, Joseph Riggs, a 35+ year industry profes- sional, has joined as Senior Vice President of the office division specializing in the sale and leasing of office build- ings and investment proper- ties. Josh Johnson, a new sales associate with the firm, joins Riggs rounding out the strengths and capabilities of the NAI Mertz southern New Jersey office team.
