PRO-PERKS + BENEFITS
WHEN OUR COMPANY WINS, YOU WIN TOO At High Prairie Outdoors, we believe people are our greatest investment —and we back that up with a benefits and perks package that leads the industry . Comprehensive Health Coverage We offer generous company contributions that can cover up to 100% of an individual’s health insurance or a significant portion of a family plan. You’ll also have access to top-tier dental, vision, disability, and life insurance options, with plans that rival the best corporate offerings. Unlike many seasonal companies that reduce benefits or cut staff in winter, we provide consistent, year-round pay and insurance coverage for all team members who remain employed with HPO. Retirement & Profit Sharing Protect your future with a 401(k) retirement plan and up to a 4% company match . On top of that, our Super-Profit Bonus Program ensures that when the company succeeds, you share in the rewards—because team wins should be celebrated by everyone. Time Off That Respects Your Life Paid Holidays: 8 company-paid holidays for full-time employees after their introductory period—rare in seasonal work, but essential to us. PTO for Crews: Unlike most landscape companies, we offer paid time off that grows over time, even for our field teams, because your rest matters. Tools That Empower You We invest in the best tools and technology to support safety, efficiency, and job satisfaction — from robotic mowers to articulating paver placement machines. These innovations help protect your body, reduce wear and tear, and enhance your day-to-day experience. REDEFINING RETENTION: 94% AND RISING With a 94% year-over-year team retention rate, High Prairie Outdoors far surpasses the landscape industry average of just 60% . This isn’t a coincidence—it’s a reflection of a culture built on respect, opportunity, and purpose . While high turnover plagues much of the industry, our team members choose to stay and grow with us because they feel valued, supported, and part of something bigger. From unmatched benefits to transparent coaching and leadership development, we’ve built a company where people can thrive. This extraordinary retention rate proves that we’re not only elevating our team—we’re raising the standard for what’s possible in our industry.

HIGH PRAIRIE’S HISTORY Our story is a classic ‘ David versus Goliath ’ tale steeped in the passion of our exceptional team members who deserve all the credit for the reputation we’ve garnered today. We started with nothing, no referral partners, and builders laughing our founder out of their office because we weren’t part of the ‘ good old boys club ’. Today, we’re pursued as the preferred choice for finely designed, crafted, and nourished outdoor spaces for discerning homeowners.
Robyn Schmitz Founded the Company after witnessing corner-cutting contractors and poor treatment of landscape employees. The organization was founded to do better. With no money, she began designing and installing landscapes.

Protecting Consumers We challenge the common corner-cutting practices happening within our industry by raising our standards and educating others. While others may be cheap, their quality doesn’t endure.
