Consensus Impact Report 2023-24

Great Place to Work

Wellbeing.

This year we’ve introduced lots of new benefits and initiatives that prioritise the health and wellbeing of our colleagues – including access to a free online GP service when people need it, continued access to anonymous 24/7 counselling services and a tech scheme to purchase new home goods and electronics, spreading the cost across the year.

Consensus Academy.

At Consensus, we never stop learning. It’s essential to ensuring we provide the best possible care for those we support. In 2023, we redesigned the way in which we train and mentor our colleagues to succeed personally and professionally, launching the Consensus Academy.

Mental Health First Aiders. Over the last year, we’ve recruited and trained 53 Mental Health First Aiders in services across the UK. These volunteers complete regular training and reviews to make sure they can provide the best mental health support and advice to any of their colleagues who need it – whether it’s just a chat, finding the service you need or a bit of advice on wellbeing and work.
