For 50 years, we have been producing OEM and ODM products, delivering them to our clients all over the world. OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) Individual products or product families from our standard portfolio are ready to be offered to the customer. This is a time-saving option as the selected washbasins, shower trays or bathtubs are absolutely ready to be launched to the market. Each product in our offer has been meticulously developed, tested and implemented. Our technology suits both big volume production and very limited batches. We proactively develop our own catalogue of washbasins, shower trays and bathtubs. At present the catalogue contains 700 products; every year we develop 100 novelties and provide geographic or channel exclusivity on certain products of the client’s choice. 1

ODM (Original Design Manufacturer) Marmite adjusts and manufactures the products hand in hand with the customer. We submit the client’s design with technical specification to our internal process, which includes research and development, design and prototype, tools preparation and, finally, mass production. Our designers are an integral part of the company which guarantees that our design propositions are fully feasible and best streamlined for our technology. This guarantees production efficiency without compromising design aesthetics and product safety. 2

3 Exclusive Design Marmite offers the possibility of designing and implementing a new product individual project, created with a specific client in mind. In the course of the creating process, we consider the customer’s needs, the market trends and the end-user’s preference, to offer market-winning products. We co-create with the customer at each stage of the design process. The designs are delivered to the customers within 2 weeks and, after first revisions, they can be immediately developed into a prototype. It takes only 12 weeks between the customer’s approval and start of the manufacturing process.

2M pcs production capacity

Our modern and extended range of machinery consists of 7 production lines with a production capacity of 2,000,000 products a year. We have two plants in Europe, which employ nearly 900 people, and we are opening a new factory in Mexico. We operate three shifts for 24 hours, five days a week. The effective planning and work organization in the production plants allow us to maintain production scalability. As a result, we are able to meet orders tailored to your scale, from shorter and less complicated series to batches consisting of thousands of products. We attribute the reliability of our products to the extended, innovative production system, repeated product testing and continuous commitment to evolving modern solutions.

New plant in Mexico!

We proudly opened a new 100 000 square feet manufacturing plant in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico (3 hours from Laredo, Texas).

It is set up to produce private label and branded products for the North & Latin American markets. This new world-class manufacturing plant significantly improves American markets’ production capacity and logistics. Products from the new factory can reach America’s customers by road in as little as one week, instead of 6 weeks by sea. Our Mexican factory has two production lines and will produce washbasins, worktops and bathtubs. Production capabilities remain the same as our European factories, i.e. it will be possible to have products in various colors with a matte or gloss finish. All parameters for finished goods will remain at the highest level, confirmed by all required norms and certifications.

Design Marmite has an in-house design team that examines and identifies trends emerging in the bathroom market. We create products with the end users in mind. The volume of our operations enables us to convey this vision on a mass scale and provide our customers with an offer that their clients will love. Our standard portfolio consists of 2400 designs. However, we keep extending it, adding approximately 300 new models every year.

Superior Material

Some 250 million years ago, the Earth was a place of much greater volcanic activity than it is today. Limestone strata were transformed into dolomite under high temperatures and enormous pressure. This rock is very hard and durable material with superior characteristics. Thanks to the technology developed by Marmite, the rock formed millions of years ago has been turned into resistant and beautiful modern products. The combination of dolomite and elastic resin imparts unparalleled durability and impact resistance to Mineral Composite. The resin also provides unlimited possibilities for molding products made from this technology.

Its main constituent is calcium and magnesium carbonate – CaMg(CO 3 ) 2 – a snow-white mineral with a crystalline structure. Mineral Composite is a material that fully utilizes the extraordinary properties of dolomite. The external surface is covered with a nanocoat. This coating is also applied to the surface of yacht hulls and wind turbine blades – places exposed to constant contact with the elements of wind and water.

Durability

Warmth Due to the combination of natural heat conduction and efficient temperature insulation, Mineral Composite absorbs warmth from the water and air around it. Products made from Mineral Composite maintain an optimal temperature for a long time, they are always warm to the touch and provide unprecedented comfort in the bathroom.

Mineral Composite is a unique structure, where

the dolomite stone is reinforced with flexible binder of resin which ensures resistance under load, damage from impact and the effects of high and low temperatures. It guarantees security of transport, installation and everyday use. Products remain in a brand-new condition for many years.

Sound insulation

Mineral Composite offers exceptional acoustic absorption. This feature comes from the high particle density of the material. It prevents the sound of water striking a surface, and so improves living comfort and convenience of use significantly.

Precision With a 0-3 mm tolerance, and a minimum radius of 2 mm, Mineral Composite enables an extensive range of shapes to be created that frees up the imagination of designers. Radiuses, dimensions and edges cease to be a challenge and material precision is easy to achieve. Perfect fit to furniture and shower enclosures go beyond any other traditional material.

Thanks to a smooth finish, Mineral Composite products are always pleasant to the touch. Our sinks, shower pans and bathtubs are resistant to even the most extreme conditions due to the inherent strength of the nanocoat surface. Its imperviousness to bacterial growth, absorption of water and chemical substances, ensures long lasting quality and ease of care.

Global Logistics Our products are distributed all over the world. We continuously improve our logistic processes in order to extend the range of deliveries. We tailor the type of delivery to the client’s individual needs, from containers and full-truck deliveries to single sample shipments.

To respond to the individual needs of our clients as effectively as it is possible, we offer various packaging and palletisation methods.

Owing to the excellent organization of our logistic processes and long-term cooperation with transport companies, the deliveries are continuous and timely.

Education and marketing support

We offer marketing materials: pictures, technical drawings, 3D files, and videos that customers can use in their communications.

Marmite organises trainings for the clients to share information on how to promote the products and to educate about the benefits. The training sessions can be held on the client’s premises, at Marmite or online. We also have e-learning platform for self-education purposes. The type and range of each training is tailored to the client’s individual needs. The Marmite training team consist of 6 professional trainers supported by over a dozen people from the Sales Department. We offer trainings in 6 languages. Each training is underpinned by customised training materials. To provide easy and quick access to our product portfolio, we have developed ProMarmite: an e-business tool for our customers. This part of our website also provides access to all the required technical data.

Respect for nature

At Marmite, we shape a better future, operating with care for the natural environment in mind. For years, we have been involved in sustainable development that has been included in the company’s long-term plans. We operate in a responsible way, following the rules of eco-design. We ensure that the consumption of raw materials is limited, make efforts to decrease waste, apply recovery technology and continuously enhance the technological base, choosing innovative production solutions. Our production process is environmentally friendly: we consume minimum water or electricity, and our CO 2 emission is zero. In the production process, we use mainly ecological materials - 75% of them come from natural or renewable sources. We also use recycled materials and components. Nearly 10% of the resin we use is recycled. By using natural raw materials, we create products that are resistant to damage, durable and recyclable.

We use 100% green energy!

Marmite in Europe switched to green energy and significantly reduces its environmental impact. From 1st July 2022, 100% of our energy comes from renewable resources.

The total reduction of GHG emissions related to our conscious decision is 8.3 thousand. tons of CO 2 per year. This is as much as the forest with an area of 16 km 2 absorbs annually.

Through to mid-2022, to manufacture an average engineered stone washbasin, Marmite had to provide electricity, which was responsible for the emission of 5 kg of CO 2 into the atmosphere. Compared to the emissions related to the production of similar products made from ceramics, this 5kg of CO 2 was already up to 70 times lower impact on the environment.

For standard cleaning of gloss and matte finishes alike, we recommend widely available, non-abrasive cleaning products. Owing to its natural origin, the material is suitable for cleaning with natural, inexpensive agents like vinegar and water with lemon. Matte finishes may occasionally require a mildly abrasive product.
