Wear It Purple Day is coming up on Friday 29 August 2025 and all sites are encouraged to support and promote this important initiative Wear It Purple Day is a national awareness day that celebrates and supports LGBTIQ+ young people, promoting safe, empowering, and inclusive environments for everyone. This year ’ s theme is “ Bold Voices, Bright Futures ” , encouraging young people to embrace their unique jour- ney and identity To help you promote the day, a small pack of resources will be giv- en to each site prior to the event, including posters and stickers. Sites are encouraged to display these ma- terials prominently and consider other ways to celebrate the day with your teams and communities .
