Adaptive Business Model In Partnership with United Philanthropy Forum and Northern California Grantmakers, the Giving Practice published a guide for PSO’s working to develop the right business model for them, ‘Riding the Wave’. This publication issues a powerful set of tools and practices that GGA should use as a leadership and governance guide. Here are some of the most helpful excerpts. Practice 1: Revenue Intentionality – Having a purpose driven business model sets this priority appropriately. Our three pronged revenue strategy is designed for 1 -sustainability (investment participants), 2 -Equity and democratized giving with an emphasis on maximum access and participation (giving circle) and 3 -Social Enterprise (Direct Public Offering) Three Standard Revenue Options and how they might be leveraged at GGA. • Dues – Participants would pay dues.
