HE best answer to many questions about the attendance at the Bible Institute of Los Angeles is given in the accompanying photo of the faculty and the student body. By way of comparison, the enrollment at the date of writing is 455, practically the same as on the corresponding day of last year. Correspondence Course students number 2,000. The evangelistic program.among various classes in and near Los Angeles, continues with unabated vigor and with manifest blessing. The Extension Department cooperates with churches in a program of evangelism and Bible teaching which is increasingly fruitful and is greatly appreciated by the cooperating churches. These facts and figures tell the story of what the Institute is giving. It is impossible to tell what this costs—-not only of money but of energy, strength and believing prayer on the part of the workers. The staff of the Institute are loyally, whole-heartedly, and sometimes beyond their strength, giving themselves to the work. Relying upon the promise, “ Give and it shall be given unto you,” the Institute claims a right to ask the Lord’s children everywhere to rally to the support of this great work. It is call ing for 20,000 Christians to join the Biola Honor Roll, pledging themselves: First: To pray daily for God’s blessing upon the Bible Institute of Los Angeles. Second: To give one dollar each month for one year toward the support of the work. Third: To secure another Honor Roll member if possible. It is not intended or expected that this plan shall exclude larger gifts, for many are doubtless able and willing to give greater sums. The promise to pray daily is coveted far more than is the financial aid.
