Our Easter Adventures

Hello, everyone! Did you know Easter is almost here? I love holidays more than any other kid that I know. Halloween is my favorite, but Harlow and I really love Easter too. We have a lot of fun decorating eggs! Last year, Harlow was only 1 year old and she kept putting her whole hand in the egg dye, making a big mess. It was really funny, and Momwas glad she had us dye eggs outside.

The little kids go first and then the big kids get a turn. This year I’m in the big kid group, which is awesome, but it means I won’t be collecting eggs with Harlow. I hope she does okay without my help! I think she will because when she wants something, she will almost always get it. She’s tough like that! Our second egg hunt is on Easter morning. First, we wake up and find a basket the Easter Bunny left for us. That bunny always leaves fun things like puzzles, coloring books, and games. After that, we do an egg hunt at our house. Mom and Dad play the “hot and cold” game if we need hints finding the eggs. I like to find the eggs that I designed, but I also like finding the little plastic eggs that have surprises inside like Play-Doh or little plastic bugs. The only thing I don’t love about the holidays is the food. Everyone keeps trying to tell me that potatoes, cranberries, ham, and turkey are really good, but I say they are DISGUSTING! Mom and Dad usually cook a big meal, but Harlow and I don’t ever eat any of it. I overheard my mom say we should just order pizza this year. Or maybe she’ll make us mac and cheese instead.

This year I know that I will be an expert egg designer. I have spent the past two months practicing my drawing skills. My favorite things to draw are robots and rock-and-lava monsters. These are characters for a movie cartoon I am going to create someday, so my mom is saving all of my drawings in a big book for me. This year, I’m going to design monster robot eggs for sure!

I think that would be a much better Easter tradition, don’t you?

Every year we have two different egg hunts. One of them is at a big park down the street from our house with kids from a bunch of different neighborhoods.

OUR CLIENTS SAY IT BEST “Great service and amazing support staff. I always felt like I was important to Case. He spent so much time with me, both in person and on the phone. The entire office made sure I always understood what was going on. Because of the positive outcome of my case I am able to finally move on and get closure on a terrible accident that happened to my son. I highly recommend Case Barnett Law.” –Sara H.
