TPT Learn's Community Impact

Exploring Careers and Skills

In April, the Ready to Learn team piloted the Mashopolis children’s program in Shreveport, LA and Washington DC. Six educators were trained on implementing digital and analog activities supporting children’s executive function skills, coping strategies, and leading career exploration activities for young children. We could do this forever! We love being an archaeologist!” – Youth participant from a career exploration workshop

Building Relationships with Local and National Partners

The Ready to Learn Team has been piloting an array of content with national and local partners, such as Loveworks Academy in Minneapolis, RONDO Discovery Club in Saint Paul, to inform future content development. Through these partnerships, we’ve gathered feedback from educators and K-2nd grade children representing diverse communities and refined digital features, directions, activity complexity, and much more!

Combatting Racism in STEM

With funding from the National Science Foundation, the Black SciGirls programming effort examines systemic issues within STEM learning spaces and aims to provide educators with anti-racist approaches that will validate and uplift Black learners. SciGirls showed them that girls can do anything they set their mind to and that the possibilities are endless.” – South Knoxville Elementary staff member
