Wenzel Whiskey Bourbon Blending DCRC Adult Program Team Discover Covington, Kentucky’s distilling heritage at Wenzel Whiskey, the first distillery since Prohibition. This trip includes a tour of the historic facility, seeing copper stills in action, and a hands-on bourbon blending session. Taste four barrel-proof samples from regional distilleries and create your own unique blend. If you like it, you may purchase a personalized bottle to take home. After the tour, lunch is on your own at The Standard Restaurant in MainStrasse Village. For comfort during the bus ride, participants are encouraged to bring snacks and water. Trip capacity is 25 participants.

All tours depart from The Lounge, located inside the DCRC.
SWACO Tour DCRC Adult Program Team Travel with us to the Franklin County Landfill for a behind- the-scenes tour with SWACO. The experience begins with a 60-to-90-minute presentation on landfill operations, material diversion and public health

Explore world-renowned art on a docent-led tour of the Cleveland Museum of Art, featuring highlights from the permanent collection. Enjoy free time for lunch at the Provenance Café, offering soups, salads, sandwiches and desserts, and browse the museum gift shop if time allows. For comfort during the bus ride, participants are encouraged to bring snacks and water.
Enjoy a spring visit to Groovy Plants Ranch in Marengo, Ohio. Explore this family-owned greenhouse filled with hanging baskets, annuals, herbs, vegetables, perennials and unique plant finds. Knowledgeable staff are available to offer tips and inspiration for your home garden. Lunch is on your own at Kitchen Social in Polaris following the visit.
