Il y aura de nombreux assis- tants sur la glace pour ceux qui apprennent à patiner, et d’autres pour défier de manière ludique ceux qui veulent en faire un peu plus. « Quand j’étais petite, le hockey n’était pas vraiment accessible aux filles dans les années 1980 », a déclaré Mme Rochette au sujet de son cheminement vers les ligues de ringuette. « C’est un sport formidable que les filles peuvent vraiment s’approprier, mais nous voulons aussi permettre à tout le monde de venir et d’essayer la ringuette. /PVTWPVMPOTËUSFJODMVTJGTFUNPOUSFSRVF ce sport peut convenir à tout le monde. On l’a surnommé le sport le plus rapide sur glace, et si vous n’avez jamais joué à la ringuette, voici votre chance d’apprendre ce dont il s’agit. L’Association de ringuette de Clarence- Rockland organise un événement gratuit intitulé « Venez essayer la ringuette » le 31 juillet à l’aréna de Clarence-Rockland. She struggled to her Piper into a routine of keeping her teeth clean. “I just didn’t want her (Piper) to feel any shame or guilt, because something like this (tooth decay) can really have an impact on the child’s mental health, and it isn’t easy on the parents either because we can feel helpless because we want to help our kids,” said the Rockland author. “This (book idea) is something that people can really benefit from if I put the time and effort to make this happen.” Laviolette’s goal is to encourage children to develop healthy, dental hygiene habits at home with the hopes of preventing any cavities. She has been hands on throughout the whole process, and her flair for the creative has certainly shined through making My Friend Toothy™ a reality. “It’s been a really fun journey, creating this idea I had from nothing into something that I really hope is helping parents and kids really understand how important it is to keep teeth clean,” said Laviolette. Stacey Laviolette never had an easy time when it came to getting her kids to brush their teeth. So one day, after returning home from a trip to the dentist’s office, she told her husband that she had a billion dollar idea that would make the importance of dental hygiene fun and innovative. The Rockland mom has successfully launched the book idea of My Friend Toothy™, which transforms the chore of brushing and flossing teeth into an engaging activity for the whole family. “I know this something that a lot of parents are struggling with, and as a parent myself, I know trying to get kids to brush their teeth isn’t an easy task,” said Laviolette in an interview with The Vision. “I have always been a creative person, and I thought, this could be something that can really help people, and something that parents can do with their kids.” Laviolette really decided to turn her billion dollar idea into a reality after her daughter, Piper, developed tooth decay and required
