EXECUTIVE DIRECTORS 5 NEW ADVANCEMENTS

Alma Araiza & Dr. Carlos Galvan TEXAS A Business Built on Solid Principles

together as a family and fulfill our dream of sharing God’s love by serving people from different nations.” Throughout the years, Alma and Carlos have grown as leaders as they’ve worked hard to build a strong team and help other people reach their goals. In the process, their Melaleuca business has pushed them to become better versions of themselves. “We embraced the process of developing our leadership skills, and that journey is reflected in our business,” Carlos explains. “We experienced fast initial growth, then several years without advancing—but real, deep, hidden growth was still taking place. We returned to the basics, to our ground rules, to the Mission Statement, and to our why .” Carlos and Alma are deeply grateful for the sense of wellness, security, and peace of mind that Melaleuca provides. They feel safe knowing they’re establishing a solid, lasting business that’s built on principles that have stood the test of time. “When we are clear about those values and truths, our business mission, and our personal why , it’s difficult to get discouraged or distracted for a long time,” Alma says. “There are so many like us who are ready to start their new lives now. We don’t want to miss them—we want to enhance their lives now.” “Melaleuca is part of us,” Carlos adds. “We can’t live without the products. We see that the company has had a positive impact on every aspect of our lives, starting with our health. And more than ever, we know that part of our mission is doing good and sharing this with other families.”

As they look back, Alma Araiza and Dr. Carlos Galvan are amazed at how much their lives have changed since they enrolled with Melaleuca. During the last 10 years, they’ve seen significant changes in their wellness and their quality of life. More than anything, they love the time and financial freedom Melaleuca has given them. “Melaleuca helped me to provide for my family in a different way,” Carlos says. “As a health care provider, I was caring for the sick, but ironically, I was unable to be with those I love the most when they needed me most. We had the income but not the time. So my wife and I agreed that we would be open to alternatives to achieve greater balance.” “We wanted an occupation that was flexible, something we could do part time—a sort of ‘remote-controlled’ business,” Alma adds, “a business that would give us flexibility and mobility because we’re both passionate about sharing our knowledge through church missions. Our Melaleuca income has allowed my husband to work fewer hours and has allowed us to spend quality time
