RED - COM is managing the construc - tion and provided architectural and engineering services. The REDCOM team has started the ground up con- struction of a brand-new logis- tics, shipping, and fulfillment facility. The building (56,170 s/f), will include four offices, one large breakroom, and two bathrooms. There will be four loading dock doors and one drive-in door. It will be a pre- cast concrete panel building with form liners. The facility will have im- proved access along Boundary Rd., expanded parking areas, and upgraded stormwater management systems. RED - COM managed the construc - tion and provided architec- tural and engineering services. Sam Rockaway, REDCOM senior vice president of Sales, said, “The 156 Bound- ary Road project highlights our focus on creating advanced, future-ready logistics facili- ties. The article, “How REDCOM Design & Construc - tion Navigated a Complicated Project Process,” presents a case study in which a large warehouse with a sinking concrete slab was remediated after engineers identified in - adequate underlying soil con- ditions to support the weight of the warehouse. Through collaboration and the use of helical micro-piles to create a new, secure foundation, the building was successfully restored and made safe for long-term use. In the article, Feeney dis - cussed how early collaboration and transparency were criti- cal to navigating the project’s complexity, noting that “bring- ing the owner, engineers,
