How to progress your career in payroll
D uring National Payroll Week (NPW), the CIPP asked its members to share their career journeys and explain why they decided to #ChoosePayroll . With this in mind, we recently hosted a webinar on how to progress your career in payroll and become the obvious choice for your next promotion. Many payroll professionals take the common career path of starting out as a payroll administrator, moving onto specialist, senior specialist and finally, a subject matter expert. Some step into a training role or join the CIPP. Furthermore, if you’ve started your career in payroll but want to branch out into a different area, there are many options available where you can use the skills you’ve acquired.
