Finally! A TV series worth watching for entrepreneurs and investors! Discovery Channel’s Undercover Billionaire is a ten-episode se- ries that documents billionaire Glenn Stearns’ challenge to build a million-dollar business in 90 days. Suprisingly, this series taught me a lot about teamwork and life as well as business. Changing his identity and going undercover, Stearns gives up all his money and contacts, and arrives in Erie, PA, left with only his business experience and grit. The show is entertaining, featur- ing scenes of a billionaire sleep-
ing in his car and eating ramen noodles with cold water. But what keeps you hooked is the leadership, business-focus, and entrepreneur- ial lessons learned from watching Stearns build his business.

What I learned from watching this show is that almost anyone can be mildly successful with the persistence to never give up. Most don’t succeed in their endeavors because they give up too early. Problems are inevitable for any business venture, but the problems most likely will get big- ger and more complicated as your business becomes bigger and more successful.
