CWGO: Career Women’s Golf Organization

There has been a ton of amazing CWGO activity to share! In June, the CWGO held its annual Keller Cup Tournament. Over 30 of our members participated in a two-person best- ball Stableford point tournament. The 2025 champions were Loree Swain and Sara Samford. Congratulations! That event was followed quickly by the 2025 Women’s Member Guest, a club-wide event with heavy CWGO participation. This year’s theme was Miami Vice and neon and flamingos abounded! It was a scorcher, but a great time was had by all. The CWGO sends its thanks to Sara Samford for being the CWGO designee on the planning committee for the third year in a row. Thank you, Sara! Our next events are our CWGO-Junior event on 16 July, which is a 9-hole round where CWGO members are paired with juniors from the ANCC golf programs. After that, we are holding our President’s Cup on 26 July. For sign ups, please see our page on the ANCC website.

WALT JEFFRESS

info@conciergephysicaltherapist.com

We are proud to partner with the American Red Cross to hold what we hope to be the first of many future blood drives. Our goal for this inaugural event is at least 54 donors! As an organization dedicated to supporting those who serve the nation—both military and civilian—this event provides a meaningful opportunity to give back in a way that directly impacts the well-being of others. An estimated 38% of Americans are eligible to give blood or platelets, but of those, less than 10 percent actually donate each year. Each pint of blood we collect can help save up to 3 lives and will touch the lives of so many more. What a great way to pay it forward and make an impact on people in our community and across the country. Walt’s dedication to the game and his commitment to supporting charitable causes through these events is truly inspiring. It took 20 years to complete the 100 Pro-Ams (2005-2025) at various venues, over 15 years at the Chubb Classic in Naples Florida. Walt exemplifies the spirit of giving back. Our team is very excited about this! If you are healthy and eligible, please come out. Donors will have the opportunity to enter raffles for various services from across the club. If you’re unsure if you are eligible to donate, register for a slot and show up to find out. We celebrate his achievement and look forward to many more years of success and generosity. Well done, Walt! Congratulations to Walt Jeffress for reaching an incredible milestone—his 100th PGA TOUR Champions Pro-Am at the Chubb Classic!

Have your children grown up within the Army Navy Country Club family, but have outgrown the age in which they may enjoy the facilities through your Membership? Children of current Members may be eligible for their own Membership at a discounted Initiation Fee if they meet eligibility criteria.

5 STAR PROGRAM

ANCC employees continue to go above and beyond for the membership. We are still honoring and celebrating our Five Star employee’s! Please continue to recognize the five star service you receive from our employees and nominate them to the Five Star committee by submitting an email to any manager.
