FORT WORTH CONVENTION CENTER VISITOR INFORMATION COUNTER The Fort Worth Visitor Information Counter, is located on-site near the SWVS registration area. Visit Fort Worth assists you with information on dinner reservations, tickets, shopping, tours and travel to all of the exciting sites in Fort Worth and the surrounding area. Lunch will be provided to all registered professional attendees for Friday and Saturday. Lunch will also be provided during the Exhibitor Satellite Sessions on Friday and Saturday. GETTING AROUND FORT WORTH The DFW International Airport is 17.5 miles from downtown Fort Worth with a travel time of 30-40 minutes. See page 13 for further details on:

Guests 17 and under do not need a ticket. No guests or children under 17 are allowed in CE sessions. SWVS cannot assure availability of appropriate accommodations without having received a prior notification 30 days before the start of SWVS. ALCOHOL POLICY SWVS recognizes the many legitimate uses of alcoholic beverages in the process of conducting business and social activities. We also recognize that the use and consumption of alcohol at our functions carries with it the requirements to consume those beverages responsibly and in keeping with our professional code of ethics and conduct. We strongly oppose the abuse and misuse of alcohol. AUDIO/VIDEO/TAPE/PHOTOGRAPHY POLICY SWVS reserves the exclusive right to all recordings or reproductions of SWVS 2022. Unauthorized recording is prohibited either by video, still, digital camera, cell phone or any other form of reproduction. This includes recording of presentations and supporting audio/visual materials, exhibits and other supporting CE materials, including proceedings. Any person attending SWVS 2022 may be photographed or videotaped and by attending gives permission to use their image in possible future marketing publications, including print, online and video. CELL PHONE POLICY All cell phones must be silenced during Lectures, Event Tours, Interactive Labs, Master Classes, and Meet the Expert Lunches.

More than 400+ hours of quality continuing education courses are offered at SWVS 2022. A maximum of 30 credit hours are available during the general symposium. Additional credit hours are available. Please check with your state veterinary medical licensing board for specific continuing education allowances and requirements. See page 17 for complete details. MEDIA REGISTRANTS Press and media must register with SWVS prior to attending the symposium. Press credentials will be issued to authorized media. SAFETY Our goal is to provide a safe environment for everyone. There is a chance that overcrowding could occur in some lectures. SWVS must comply with the fire marshal’s policies to ensure we are safe, so if a meeting room is at capacity, no one else will be allowed in the room until it is safe to do so. We ask for your understanding and patience should this occur. Plan to arrive early for a specific lecture if you wish to participate. GUESTS Guests, spouses and children are all welcome on the SWVS tradeshow floor. Guest/spouse tickets are $70 each and are for family members

TITER DETERMINATION & RABIES VACCINATION CLINIC SWVS offers you the opportunity to have blood drawn for a titer determination. Blood will be drawn on Saturday, then packaged, and shipped to a laboratory for titer determination. Results will be sent from Kansas State University with an estimated turnaround time of six to eight weeks. Cost of the titer will be $100. If it has been arelatively long time (5 or more years) since you have had a rabies booster vaccination or a titer determination, you may elect to have a booster vaccination instead of having a titer run. Cost of the vaccination will be $350. Rabies vaccinations will not be available on-site if you have not pre‑registered.
