B assetts launched their brand-new Heating Innovation Centre for plumbers and heating engineers in September.The new Bassetts Heating Innovation Centre, at the company’s Clady branch, marks the latest step in a long-term investment strategy by Northern Ireland’s largest plumbing and heating merchant. The event was hosted by an expert panel talking about self build and the future of renewable heating. Award-winning architect and Grand Designs star Patrick Bradley; Garrett Quinn, Director GP Developments and winner of House of the Year in the 2021 Building and Architect of the year awards; and Michael McClements, AIB Mortgages Advisor, all shared advice on planning self-build projects. The evening brought together the best of Bassetts’ products and services. Dedicated to the plumber, installer and self-builder, this innovative facility will act as a training centre for customers interested in exploring
the latest plumbing and heating technology, including renewables. Featured brands include market-leading manufacturers such as Grant, CTC, Domus, Viessmann, Baxi, Glo+, Heatmiser, Worcester Bosch and Gledhill, to name a few, with customers able to experience a range of working models. The introduction of renewable technologies is the single biggest evolution in the plumbing and heating sector in Northern Ireland. Installers and self- builders are keen to learn what opportunities and advantages renewable heating offer them. By providing training at its tailor-made Heating Innovation Centre, the award- winning plumbing merchants aim to enable commercial customers to strive towards a greener future. Bassetts is determined to offer contractors and installers the skills, support and service they need to thrive in the renewable heating sector. The centre is open for tours and training at the Clady branch.
