BMS SYSTEM S ygma Automation provided a building management system that controls the district heating system for the Cheevers Court and Haliday House apartment blocks. Combined heat and power plant (CHP), heat pumps and boilers are controlled and enabled in sequence to provide residents of Cheevers Court and Haliday House with an effective and energy-efficient heating system. The building operator can log in to the building management systems web server to view and control the mechanical plant. The motor control centre has a local display which also displays the graphics from the web server. “We used a Siemens BACnet controller in conjunction with a Siemens Desigo Control Point,” explained Sygma Automation MD, Tim Jones. “This facilitates operation and monitoring by allowing access to the plant via the local touch panel, any PC or mobile device - wherever you are located. “Desigo Control Point is a consistent
