Installer Training Courses
“We’re helping installers navigate the changes and capitalise on the
opportunities our sector is experiencing, by offering free training to build your knowledge of our heat pump systems as part of our Sustainable Home Network.” The unit comes in four different capacity ranges 9, 11, 14 and 16 class, which are suitable for homes of various sizes, from a two-bedroom terraced to a four- bedroom detached home. The heat pump system uses a new R32 refrigerant, which requires 30% less refrigerant charge than a R410A equivalent unit and achieves 75% lower CO2 emissions than previous Monobloc units, lowering its environmental impact. Suitable for all climates, the unit can withstand severe winter conditions, with an operational range of -25°C to 60°C. The Daikin Altherma 3 Monobloc has an average life span of up to 15 years, compared to 13* years for a traditional gas boiler and provides a safer living environment by eliminating the need for gas and oil within the home. Floortherm Renewables offers monthly installer training courses in Daikin Altherma heat pumps, Vent Axia mechanical ventilation heat recovery systems along with bespoke Floortherm branded underfloor heating solutions. Courses are held at its Sustainable Home Centre training facilities in Newry and target three skill levels: Basic Installer: Basic installer course, examining the new Daikin and Vent-Axia products as they emerge and the advantages of each product. Advanced installer: Covering system set-up for commissioning, faultfinding and servicing. Service partner: Examining majorfault errors and training installers up to work alongside Floortherm engineers to help cover warranty claims across the range.
