Founded in Denmark in 2012 and now active in 41 countries, Cycling Without Age (CWA) is on a mission to reduce social isolation and promote health, connection, and access to nature – one bike ride at a time. Join us to hear from the founders of CWA@Bike Library , Iowa’s first community-based affiliate. Since 2024, this Iowa City chapter has been using a specially designed e-trishaw bike to connect enthusiastic volunteer pilots with individuals who can no longer cycle on their own due to age or mobility challenges. Whether you're a cycling enthusiast or simply curious about this inspiring movement, come learn how Cycling Without Age is bringing the joy of biking to our community. Guests welcome.
