Kyeonghye Kim Arts 63 De Anza College Kyeonghye is trilingual in Korean, Japanese, and English, and lived and worked in Tokyo before relocating to the USA. Her designs reflect that layered background. The Nebuta Festival project draws on Japanese visual and cultural traditions, communicating the history and scale of the festival with the kind of cultural specificity that comes from actual knowledge of the subject. Her skateboard design series provides a more modern look at her outstanding illustration abilities applied to her interest in environmental topics.
