Alejandra Vargas Mendez grew up in Queens and recently relocated to San Jose, where she is working toward a career in UI/UX design. The Chronos project reflects that trajectory directly. Rather than treat the magazine ad as a purely print exercise, she used it to explore the intersection of print advertising and interface design, building a spread that functions as both a brand statement and a working HUD visualization. The left page establishes atmosphere through negative space and a single image. The right page organizes energy readings, structural data, and system gauges into a hierarchy that holds together at print scale. It is the work of a designer thinking across media.
