CELEBRATING 50 YEARS OF BUILDING OUR COMMUNITIES
As we step boldly into 2026, we’re not just entering another calendar year; we’re stepping into a milestone five decades in the making. This year marks 50 years of Franklin Building Supply, a half-century of grit, craft, community, and the everyday dedication of people who take pride in building what matters. Throughout 2026, we’re going to celebrate that legacy with purpose, creativity, and plenty of stories worth telling. Throughout the entire year, we’ll be hosting 50th anniversary celebrations at our locations, in our stores, online, and throughout our communities. Some events will tap into nostalgia, others will shine a light on the future, and many will highlight the people, past and present, who shaped Franklin Building Supply. We’ll be looking back at the early days, sharing memories from longtime employees, telling stories that many may not have heard before, and honoring the experiences that brought us from a small operation to the company we are today. These celebrations aren’t just events; they’re a chance to reconnect with our roots and acknowledge how far we’ve come together.
This year also marks a major transformation in how we share our story with the world. After several years of relying on an outside agency for marketing,
social media, and online reputation management, we are officially bringing it all back in-house for 2026. This is more than a structural shift, it’s a strategic refocus. By taking back the reins, we’ll be able to tell our story more intentionally, promote our company with a deeper understanding, and manage our reputation with greater precision and authenticity. No one knows Franklin Building Supply better than the people who live it every day, and now, our marketing will reflect that from the inside out. As part of our renewed storytelling focus, I encourage everyone to tune in to the “Ain’t That Somethin’” podcast. If you’re new to it, the podcast is hosted by our CEO, Levi Smith, and highlights companies that many don’t realize either originated in Idaho or now call Idaho home. In 2026, one of the featured stories will spotlight one of the founders of Franklin Building Supply, offering an opportunity to revisit (or maybe hear for the first time) the story of our earliest days. It’s a chance to understand where we started, how we grew, and why our history still influences the way we operate today. It’s meaningful, it’s memorable, and it’s part of who we are.
Thank you for being part of this milestone year. Here’s to the past 50 and the next 50 we’re building together.

HIGH FIVES!
stopped by and spent the next 30 minutes helping me organize it in a way that made life much easier for the load builder. I appreciate his experience and willingness to lend a helping hand to the team! SAFE From: Tyler Anderson, Jerome To: Jerome Transfer Yard Since coming back and being at this location, I’m just amazed at the culture I’m grateful to be a part of. The ability that Kalen and Dave have to show phenomenal efficiency while promoting safety at the same time is bar none. The example they set is a beacon for me to strive for greatness in a safe and effective way. Tim and Kelly have been so encouraging and helpful in my journey as a green CDL driver, giving me nothing but confidence in the driving career I have to come. These men are great, and I’m honored to be a part of this location. HIGH FIVE! EASY From: Chris Morrison, Caldwell To: Caldwell Yard I wanted to take a moment to recognize the incredible teamwork
from the Caldwell yard during yesterday’s windstorm. When
strong winds pulled plastic off some openings at a Toll Brothers job, we needed OSB quickly to cover exposed windows. The Caldwell yard stepped up without hesitation. At 3:45 p.m., with a returns truck only 30 minutes away, Clinton drove over and delivered the OSB we needed. Mike coordinated everything seamlessly, ensuring the materials arrived promptly so Chris Mhire could secure the site. This kind of responsiveness and commitment makes a huge difference. Thank you to Clinton, Mike, and the entire Caldwell team for going above and beyond to keep things on track. This is what owners do! Thank you! STRIVE Brad has been working hard to get the store back to being organized so that our customers can find what they need for the job. He also goes out of his way to make sure that the customers have what they need for the job. Thank you for what you do, Brad. From: Erica Self, Burley To: Brad Curtis, Burley
WOW From: John Ward, Caldwell To: Joey Green, Boise
One of Joey Green’s customers was so impressed with the exceptional service he provided her and her husband that she felt compelled to share her appreciation in the email below: “I have been meaning to share with you my experience working with Joey at Franklin Building Supply. He has been absolutely fabulous at helping my husband and me with our shed project. We have made two large supply purchases and may be making more so we can wrap up this project. Joey has been kind, funny, and very helpful.” GUIDE From: Coltin Millward, Idaho Falls To: Chance Williams, Idaho Falls Chance is new to Franklin Building Supply, but he is always eager to lend a helping hand. Today, I was talking with another employee about frustrations he was having with Micro Lam while building loads, and Chance

In the Spotlight
IN THE SPOTLIGHT CLAYTON ROHNER’S IMPACT AT FRANKLIN BUILDING SUPPLY
At Franklin Building Supply, we place great value on the people who show up every day and keep things moving. Our success depends on everyone doing their part, taking ownership, and looking out for one another. From the yard to the counter, it’s the steady, behind-the- scenes work that makes a difference for our customers and team. We don’t take that lightly, and we’re proud of the people who help make FBS what it is. One of those people is Clayton Rohner, an Inside Sales team member at our Idaho Falls location. In just over eight months with us,
Clayton has become someone his coworkers rely on. His role covers a lot of ground: receiving product, managing warehouse flow, building loads, keeping stock organized, and stepping in at the front counter when needed. He starts every day with a safety meeting and a walkthrough of the warehouse to ensure everything is clean, organized, and secure, especially in a space where customers are constantly coming and going. Clayton appreciates the friendly, energetic atmosphere at Franklin, and that attitude shows in how he works with others. Outside of work,
he stays active playing in adult hockey leagues during the winter and hiking in the summer. Fun fact: He also played for the Idaho Falls Spud Kings during their first year. At the end of the day, Clayton is motivated by taking care of his family (a lovely lady and three dogs) and bringing the same sense of responsibility to work that he brings home. Clayton, we are thrilled to have you as part of the FBS team!
