Hawaii Mexico Panama Canal Minimum Age Minimum age for sailing ranges from six to twelve months for trans-ocean crossings and remote itineraries where there are more than 2 consecutive sea days. Babysitting For a fee, Carnival offers limited services for children under two each evening from 10 PM to 1 AM and during port times. This Camp Ocean Night Owls program is available from children aged 6 months to 11. There is a fee of $6.75 per hour plus a 15% gratuity per child. There are times on sea day mornings when the parent can come and play with the child (or drop off for a fee). Check onboard for specific ship details. Pregnancy Policy Pregnant women are only allowed to sail if they will not have reached twenty-four weeks at disembarkation. All pregnant women are required to produce a physician’s letter stating that mother and baby are in good health, fit to travel, and not involved in a high-risk pregnancy. The letter must also include the estimated date of delivery (EDD). Children’s Programs Infants and Toddlers (0–2 years) Camp Ocean is unable to accept children under the age of 2 during activity time. There are specific times onboard each ship that children under 2 years old are welcome at Camp Ocean. It differs per ship and per itinerary. • Sea Days: There are limited times throughout the cruise for ‘Under 2’ time. During these times, parents have the option of leaving their child in the care of the Youth Staff (fees apply: $6.75 USD per hour plus a 15% gratuity, per child) – or - they can stay and use the camp facility at no charge. This time is designated for the use of ‘Under 2’s’ and their parents only. Check onboard for specific times offered. Hours may vary due to cruise itineraries. • Port Days: While in port, parents have the option of leaving their child in the care of the Youth Staff (fees apply: $6.75 USD per hour plus a 15% gratuity, per child), however, we do not provide meal times for children Under 2. • Evenings: Night Owls - for details and fees, see Night Owls (babysitting). From 10:00pm-1:00am each evening in the camp facility, a ‘slumber party’ type atmosphere, including movie time, toys and room service snacks. During this time, there will be children from other age groups (2-11 years) participating in Night Owls. Cribs are available if needed.
