1. Prepare Boiled Water and Equipment:

✓ Teapot ✓ Tea pitcher ✓ Teacups ✓ Tea ceremony utensils

▪ Also prepare freshly boiled water.

2. Preheat:

▪ Pour boiling water into the pot and drain out the water after warming the pot.

3. Tea Leaves:

▪ Put the required amount of tea leaves into the warm teapot – tea to water ratio is 1g:20ml

4. Awaken Tea:

▪ Pour boiling water into the pot along the wall to wash the tea, and avoid pouring directly onto the tea leaves. Depending on the tea year, the Pu Er can be soaked for a while, until the tea is fully woken up before the water is drained.

5. Brewing:

Pour boiling water into the pot and let the tea brew.

6. Pour the Tea:

Pour the infusion into the tea pitcher.

7. Serve the Tea:

▪ Pour the tea into the teacups and serve the guests.
