Large Patch Timing for large patch prevention is based on university research and begins in the fall when average soil temperatures at 2” depth fall to an average of 70-72ºF for five consecutive days when taken about 11:00 am. These applications should be watered-in with 0.125-0.25”. Pythium Root Rot Applications for Pythium root rot should be initiated in the spring when the average soil temperature at a 2” depth taken at 11 am is 60ºF for three consecutive days. Applications should be watered in with 0.125-0.25”. Signature TM XTRA can be tank-mixed with any or all of the applications below to enhance plant health and photosynthesis, improve control of Pythium root rot, and help manage resistance.
