POLYON® controlled-release fertilizer vs. Nitroform
Both UF and MU are slow-release sources, but the rate of release depends on soil microbial activity rather than coating thickness and temperature. Since we have a high degree of control over coating thickness, we have a high degree of control over release rate. Because of this difference, the user has less control over when the nitrogen from MU or UF will release, regardless of application timing. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
